"[G]raced with the pipes of a goddess" (River Reporter), soprano Elise Mark is "making her mark" (Voce di Meche) in the classical and operatic world and beyond. An exceptionally versatile talent, she is equally adept at performing traditional operatic repertoire as well as contemporary opera and musical theater. Whether she is performing at Carnegie Hall or entertaining and engaging audiences in unique and intimate concert settings, Elise "pulls the audience into the show and into the character with her wonderful expressions, and her gorgeous voice" (Democrat). Elise always pours her soul into her art, revealing a deep humanity that listeners can’t help but connect with.

Recently named a semi-finalist in Annapolis Opera's 2019 Vocal Competition, Elise has performed both concert and operatic works with companies and theaters across the United States and internationally including Steamboat Opera, Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, New Amsterdam Opera, Long Island Lyric Opera, Delaware Valley Opera of New York, Concert Operetta Theater, ENA Ensemble, Penn Square Music Festival, Teatro Mancinelli, Tri-State Chorale, and many more.

In addition to concert and operatic repertoire, Elise's expertise and body of work also extends to voice acting. Elise keeps up a steady schedule of both commercial and artistic work, including several audiobooks, podcast audio dramas such as ‘Weeping Cedars’ with the All Ports Open Network, and commercial work for companies such as Envirosax, Relomar, Modholic, Mother Nature Organics, Kenworth Mid Atlantic, Benanna Bakery, Panda Express and hundreds more.

Despite her increasingly busy schedule as a versatile vocalist, Elise has also embraced her passion for community and connection through producing several intimate and unique concerts, founding and leading the Creative Becoming Community for the creatively intrigued, and co-hosting the opera lifestyle podcast My So-Called Opera Life. She has also taught several workshops and classes for companies including Opera Philadelphia, Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble Education Program, em2CONNECT, and Bucknell University. Her focus offers students and audiences perspectives on creative expression, musicality, freedom and confidence.
