Vocalist Elise Mark and composer Susanna Payne-Passmore will present their collaborative endeavor—a new composition inspired by Marjorie Pickthall's evocative poem "Stars," as part of the Penn Sound Collective on Friday, December 8th.

Stemming from a previous improvisational performance of the poem, this piece delves into the depths of artistic improvisation and experimentation, weaving Elise's instinctive vocal storytelling with Susanna's collaborative piano textures.
