Tired of singing in the shower?

Are you craving for a way to sing songs, harmonize, and make music with others?

Would you like the opportunity to meet and connect with friends and neighbors?

Are you looking for a fun musical outlet?

Chill Choir is a new adult choir created for people who want a fun, low pressure creative outlet and place to sing with others! Join us every Wednesday night for hanging and singing in community!


What to Expect

  • Sign up online—no music experience or auditions needed.

  • Join our rehearsals on Wednesday evening to learn, rehearse, and socialize. You don’t have to attend all of the rehearsals to join us!

  • Learn from pro singer and teacher, form new bonds through music, and end with a final showcase to share with the community.

Dates & Deets

  • Register online. Chill Choir has open enrollment, so you can join anytime, even in the middle of the session.

  • Chill Choir Spring Session runs from January - May. (We are a year-round choir! Summer session is May - August)

  • Weekly rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm.

  • Location is the The Perch Music & Arts Studio in Fishtown/East Kensington area of Philadelphia.

How to Join

  • Step 1: Complete the online sign up form.

  • Step 2: Submit payment.

  • Step 3: Come to the next rehearsal!


Don't Freak Out (FAQs)

  1. I can't make every rehearsal! Is that okay?

    Missing rehearsals is fine—you'll just miss the fun that week!

  2. I can't sing that well! Can I still join?

    Yes! All levels and abilities are welcome! This group gathers for music and fun. We are not a professional group of singers; we are a collection of friends and neighbors that like and/or miss singing with others.

  3. I struggle learning /can't read music. How will we learn the songs?

    Both sheet music and audio recordings will be provided to all choir members. Elise is also available to help choir members learn and feel comfortable and excited about their participation.
